Introduction Australian Kangaroo (Nugget) Gold Coin

The Kangaroo gold coin, also known as the Nugget, is produced by the Perth Mint in Australia. The name comes from the motif depicted, while today a kangaroo is depicted on the coin, for the first four years after its introduction it was a gold nugget. Even though it is now a kangaroo every year, a different kangaroo is depicted each year.
